DESCRIPTION

KMT072NGJLHS is a nano-miniature surface-mount tactile switch from the KMTO Series, designed for momentary action, normally-open applications with a compact 3.0 x 2.06 mm footprint and 0.65 mm total height. The switch features a 2.3 N (230 grams) operating force with =30% tactile feeling, 0.15 mm travel distance, and an extended operating life of 600,000 cycles, making it suitable for high-reliability applications. Electrically, it supports a maximum voltage of 32 VDC, maximum current of 50 mA, contact resistance of =150 mO, and operates reliably across -40°C to +85°C. The switch is rated IP68 for environmental protection and features ultra-low current capabilities with a minimum operating current of 1 mA. Common applications include mobile phones, hearing aids, automotive keyless entry systems, smoke and CO detectors, and home automation remote controls, where compact size and reliable tactile feedback are essential.
