DESCRIPTION
RTAP31W12W25NS is a coded rotary switch from the C&K RTA Series, designed for panel mounting applications requiring reliable position selection. This switch features a 3/8-32 threaded bushing mounting style, 12 positions, and a 25mm (0.984 inch) extended actuator with screwdriver slot for easy adjustment. It utilizes silver contact material rated for low level/dry circuit and power switching with a maximum switching current of 150 mA at 60 V nominal, maximum switching power of 5 VA, and carrying current up to 5 A. The switch offers break-before-make (BBM) switching mode with contact resistance less than 150 mO and dielectric strength of 500 V at 50 Hz. Common applications include appliances, electronic alarm systems, medical equipment, building automation, and HVAC systems.
