DESCRIPTION

The 83100000005 is a miniature fuseholder (Holder No. 831) designed for PC-mount applications with 5x20mm fuses in a vertical 4-pin configuration. It features a shocksafe design rated at 250V with a rated current of 6.3A (VDE/SEMKO) or 16A (UL/CSA) and a rated power of 2.5W, utilizing four solder pins (0.5mm × 1.1mm) spaced at 5.08mm pitch for common connection on printed circuit boards. The holder is constructed from black thermoplastic polyamide PA 6.6 (UL94 V-0) with copper alloy metal parts and tinned solderable terminals, offering contact resistance of =5mO and dielectric strength exceeding 1.5 kV. It operates across -25°C to +70°C, withstands vibration testing at 10–2000 Hz with 0.75mm amplitude (10–60 Hz) and 10g acceleration (60–2000 Hz), and maintains insulation resistance greater than 10³ MO at 500 VDC. This fuseholder is ideal for circuit protection in consumer electronics, industrial control systems, and appliances requiring compact, reliable fuse mounting with international approvals (VDE, SEMKO, UL, CSA).
