DESCRIPTION
The SSS-LX5093GD-500B is a T-5mm (T-1) green LED with a 565 nm peak wavelength and green diffused lens, integrated with a 0.500" black PVC spacer for standardized mounting. The device operates at a forward current of 20 mA with a forward voltage of 2.2 to 2.6 V, delivering 30 mcd of axial intensity and a 60° viewing angle (2× theta). It is rated for peak forward currents up to 150 mA (pulse, t < 10 µs) and steady-state currents up to 25 mA, with a maximum power dissipation of 105 mW at 25 °C and a derating of 1.2 mW/°C above that temperature. The LED is designed for reliable operation across -40 °C to +85 °C and withstands soldering temperatures up to 260 °C (3 seconds maximum at 2.0 mm from body). This product is commonly used in indicator panels, status displays, and general-purpose signaling applications where a compact, bright green indicator is required.
