DESCRIPTION
The MCP4725A2T-E/CH is a low-power, high-accuracy, single-channel, 12-bit buffered voltage output Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) with on-board non-volatile EEPROM memory. It operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply and features a rail-to-rail output amplifier with a typical settling time of 6 µs. The device communicates via an I2C compatible serial interface that supports standard (100 kbps), fast (400 kbps), and high-speed (3.4 Mbps) modes, and user settings can be stored in the EEPROM to be recalled on power-up. This DAC is ideal for applications such as set point or offset trimming, sensor calibration, closed-loop servo control, and portable instrumentation.
