DESCRIPTION
The CAT25256VI-GT3 is a 256-Kb Serial CMOS EEPROM that supports the Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) protocol. It features a 64-byte page write buffer, operates on a wide supply voltage range from 1.8V to 5.5V, and is compatible with clock frequencies up to 20 MHz. This specific part is supplied in an 8-lead SOIC package and is rated for the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The device includes hardware and software write protection, block protection, and on-chip Error Correction Code (ECC).
