DESCRIPTION
AEV14012 is a 120A high-capacity compact relay designed for high DC voltage switching in electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, fuel-cell vehicles, and battery charge/discharge systems. The relay features a hydrogen-filled capsule contact mechanism that provides superior arc cooling capacity and short gap cutoff performance at high DC voltages, with a nominal coil voltage of 12V DC and maximum applied voltage of 16V DC. The sealed hydrogen gas environment prevents contact oxidation and dust ingress, ensuring high contact reliability and safety through construction that prevents arc leakage and explosions. With a nominal operating power of 4.2W, pickup voltage maximum of 9V DC, and dropout voltage minimum of 1V DC, this relay delivers robust performance in demanding automotive and industrial applications requiring reliable high-voltage DC switching.
