DESCRIPTION
GX-F12A-P-C5 is a rectangular-shaped inductive proximity sensor with PNP open-collector transistor output and front sensing configuration, featuring a 5 m cable length variant. The sensor delivers a maximum operation distance of 4.0 mm (0.157 in) with a stable sensing range of 0 to 3.3 mm (0 to 0.130 in) for reliable detection of metallic objects. It operates at 12 to 24 V DC supply voltage with current consumption of 15 mA or less, and provides a maximum response frequency of 500 Hz with normally open output operation. The sensor is housed in a PBT enclosure with polyester indicator part, offering IP68G protection against water and oil ingress, making it highly resistant to harsh industrial environments. With shock resistance of 10,000 m/s² (1,000 G) and vibration resistance up to 500 Hz at 3 mm amplitude, this sensor is ideal for compact molding equipment monitoring, part feeder applications, and other industrial automation tasks requiring robust metallic object detection.
