The 100-096-452 is a 96-contact male connector featuring a three-row fully equipped contact arrangement and press-fit termination technology for direct PCB mounting. This Type C Series 100 connector is designed for high-density interconnection applications requiring reliable electrical connections without soldering. The connector accommodates PCB thicknesses from 0.06 to 0.13 inches (1.6–3.2 mm) with finished hole sizes of 0.037–0.043 inches (0.94–1.09 mm) and requires a drill size of 0.045 ± 0.0004 inches (1.15 ± 0.01 mm). The press-fit pins support copper plating of 100–300 microinches (25–76 micrometers) with a minimum tin-lead coating of 30 microinches (6 micrometers).
