DESCRIPTION
The MUSS100-08-C_E is a MAS-CON Series 100 PCB header connector featuring 2.54 mm pitch spacing with a 180° unbreakable design, integrated locking mechanism, and polarization to ensure correct mating orientation. The connector is rated for 3.0 A continuous current with a maximum contact resistance of 20 mO and withstands 1000 V AC for one minute, with an insulation resistance of 1000 MO minimum. It operates reliably across -40 °C to +105 °C and is constructed from copper alloy contacts plated with tin over nickel (gold available on request) and PA66 GF insulator material rated UL94 V-0. The connector is designed for wave soldering with a peak temperature of 235 ±5 °C and is commonly used in industrial control systems, telecommunications equipment, and consumer electronics requiring secure, polarized interconnections with high reliability and ease of assembly.
