DESCRIPTION
The R-78W12-0.5 is a wired DC/DC switching regulator designed to deliver a stable 12VDC output at 0.5A. It operates from an input voltage range of 15VDC to 32VDC and features a high efficiency of 96%, which eliminates the need for a heatsink. This compact module includes continuous short circuit protection, built-in diode protection, and exhibits low output ripple and noise of 50mVp-p typical. Its wired SIP3 package makes it ideal for applications without a PCB, such as high-power LED lighting, battery-powered systems, and cooling systems.
