DESCRIPTION
The MD-80SN is an 8-pin vertical panel-mount Mini DIN connector featuring thin metal mounting ears for secure installation. It is rated for 100 Vac input voltage and 12 Vdc, with a maximum input current of 1 A at 12 Vdc and 2 A at 100 Vac. The connector exhibits a contact resistance of 30 mO, insulation resistance of 50 MO at 250 Vdc, and can withstand 250 Vac for 1 minute. With an insertion force of 4.5 kg, withdrawal force range of 0.9–3 kg, and an operating temperature range of -20°C to +105°C, the connector is designed for reliable performance across diverse industrial and consumer applications. The connector has a rated life of 4,000 cycles and meets UL94V-0 flammability standards, making it suitable for equipment requiring robust electrical connectivity and durability.
