DESCRIPTION
The PJ-002B is a DC power jack connector featuring a 2.5 mm center pin and right-angle orientation for through-hole PCB mounting. It is rated for a maximum input voltage of 24 Vdc and a maximum input current of 2.5 A, with a contact resistance of 30 mO and an insulation resistance of 100 MO at 500 Vdc. The connector exhibits a voltage withstand rating of 500 Vac for 1 minute, an insertion/withdrawal force range of 0.3 to 3 kg, and a terminal strength of 500 g in any direction. Operating over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C with a rated life of 5,000 cycles, the PJ-002B is constructed with a PBT housing (UL94V-0 flammability rating) and features nickel-plated copper center pin and silver-plated brass and copper alloy terminals.
