DESCRIPTION

The SJ1-3514-SMT-TR is a surface-mount audio jack connector featuring a tip switch configuration for audio signal routing and switching control. This low-profile connector is constructed with phosphor bronze and brass terminals plated with gold flash over nickel, providing reliable contact resistance of 50 mO between terminal and mating plug. The device operates at a rated input voltage of 12 Vdc with a maximum current rating of 1 A, and maintains insulation resistance of 100 MO at 500 Vdc. With an operating temperature range of -25°C to +85°C, a mechanical life of 5,000 cycles, and UL94V-0 flammability rating, this connector is well-suited for consumer audio equipment, portable devices, and professional audio applications requiring compact, reliable switching functionality.
