DESCRIPTION
1001224 is a 12 x 24 inch open top static shielding bag from the 3M SCC 1000 series, designed to provide a static-safe environment for sensitive electronic devices. It features a four-layer construction with polyester dielectric and aluminum metal layer that provides Faraday effect shielding against ESD and electrostatic fields. The bag has a thickness of 3 mils, tensile strength of 4700 PSI, and static decay time of less than 2 seconds. With interior and exterior surface resistivity of less than 10^12 ohms/square and static shielding of less than 30 volts, it meets or exceeds ANSI/ESD S541, EIA 625, and ANSI/ESD S20.20 requirements. This transparent, metallized bag is ideal for packaging and protecting ESD-sensitive components during storage and transport.
