DESCRIPTION
D271020 is a 10" × 20" aluminized moisture barrier bag from 3M's Dri-Shield 2700 series, designed for dry packaging of electronic devices and surface-mount devices (SMDs). The bag is constructed from multiple layers of metallized polyester and heavy gauge static dissipative polyethylene, providing superior puncture resistance of 30 lbs and exceptional moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR) of less than 0.005 g/100 sq.in./24 hrs. It features a material thickness of 7 mils, tensile strength of 6800 PSI, and seam strength greater than 15 lbs, with electrical properties including interior and exterior surface resistivity less than 10¹² ohms/square, static shielding of less than 20 volts, and EMI attenuation of 45 dB. The bag meets or exceeds ANSI/ESD S541, EIA 625, and ANSI/ESD S20.20 program compliance standards, making it ideal for protecting sensitive electronic components from moisture and static damage during storage and transport, with easy vacuum-seal capability and QC traceability coding.
