DESCRIPTION
D301618 is a 3M Moisture Barrier Bag Dri-Shield 3000 with dimensions of 16 inches width by 18 inches length, engineered to provide electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection and moisture barrier properties for sensitive electronic components. The bag is constructed from a laminate of nylon, foil, and polyethylene, with a metal foil layer that provides ESD shielding and minimizes electric field penetration. Key performance characteristics include a moisture vapor transmission rate of =0.0003 grams/100 sq. in./24 hrs., tensile strength of 3800 PSI (26 MPa), puncture resistance of 16 lbs (71 N), and a thickness of 6 mils (0.1524 mm ±15%). The bag features ESD shielding of <10 nJ, surface resistance <1×10¹¹ ohms on both interior and exterior surfaces, and static decay of <2 seconds, meeting ANSI/ESD S541 and S20.20 compliance standards.
