DESCRIPTION
The 66F110 is a subminiature bimetallic thermostat in an 8-pin DIP package designed for accurate temperature sensing and switching in compact applications. It features a single pole/single throw contact configuration with positive snap action, gold-plated contacts, and operates at a set temperature of 110°C (±5°C) with a minimum differential of 6°C and minimum reset of 80°C. The device is rated for up to 1.0 A at 48 VDC or 120 VAC, with low-level switching capability down to 0.001 A at 5 VDC for 100,000 cycles, and achieves a contact resistance of 50 milliohms maximum. It operates reliably across -55°C to 160°C long-term exposure limits and is sealed with high-temperature epoxy for wave soldering and moisture protection. Common applications include thermal protection in computers and peripherals, aircraft, automotive systems, and test equipment for indicator lights, alarms, and system shutdown circuits.
