DESCRIPTION

The 164TL522 is a rectangular illuminated pushbutton switch from the Command Series featuring snap-acting double break contacts with gold plating over silver clad for reliable logic level and power switching. It provides 2 normally open and normally closed (N.O. & N.C.) contacts with push on/push off latching action, maintaining visible status indication. The switch is rated for 0.4 VA at 20 VDC or peak AC, and 5 A at 250 VAC or 24 VDC (resistive), with an initial contact resistance of 20 milliohms maximum and a life expectancy of 100,000 operations at rated current. Operating over a temperature range of -20°C to +50°C, the 164TL522 meets IP65 (oiltight) and NEMA 1, 12 & 13 standards, with 100 megohms minimum insulation resistance and 1,500 VAC dielectric strength. This instrument-grade switch is ideal for industrial control panels, machinery interfaces, and applications requiring reliable status indication with tactile feedback.
