DESCRIPTION
MSSA1450G is a single-pole, 4-throw (SP4T) instrumentation-grade slide switch manufactured by TE Connectivity under the Alcoswitch brand. It features gold plating for enhanced contact reliability and is configured for upright mounting. The switch has a contact rating of 0.4 VA at 20 VDC or peak AC, with an initial contact resistance of 0.30 milliohms maximum and make-before-break contact timing. It offers an insulation resistance of 1,000 megohms minimum, dielectric strength of 0.500 volts RMS at sea level, and an actuation force of 0.600±300/470 grams with an actuator travel of 0.079 inches (2.01 mm). The switch is rated for up to 15,000 cycles of operation, making it suitable for precision instrumentation, control panels, and laboratory equipment applications where reliable switching and long service life are required.
