DESCRIPTION

The 102973-4 is a .100 inch AMPMODU breakaway header connector designed for board-to-board interconnection applications. It features 8 positions arranged in 2 rows with a 2.54 mm (0.100 inch) centerline spacing, a mating post length of 8.08 mm, and a termination post length of 3.18 mm. The connector utilizes gold-plated square contacts made from phosphor bronze with tin-lead over nickel plating on the solder tail, providing reliable electrical connections with a current rating of 3 A and dielectric withstanding voltage of 750 V. Operating over a temperature range of -65°C to +105°C and housed in thermoplastic material with UL 94V-0 flammability rating, this connector is suitable for general-purpose PCB interconnection in industrial and commercial electronics where modular, breakaway header solutions are required.
