DESCRIPTION
The 103168-2 is a shrouded AMPMODU header designed for PCB applications with dual rows and 8 total positions. It features a 0.100 inch (2.54 mm) centerline matrix spacing, vertical mount orientation, and a 4-sided housing constructed from thermoplastic material rated UL 94V-0. The mating post length is 8.08 mm with a post size of 0.64 mm, while the solder tail contact length is 3.18 mm, and contacts are plated with gold (30 µin) over phosphor bronze with tin-lead plating on solder posts over nickel. This header includes detent window mating connector locks for secure connections and operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C. It is wave solder capable to 240°C and complies with ELV standards (5 of 6 RoHS compliant), making it suitable for industrial and consumer electronics applications requiring robust PCB interconnection.
