DESCRIPTION

The 103956-2 is a 3-position MTE receptacle assembly designed for wire-to-board and wire-to-wire interconnect applications within the AMPMODU MTE interconnect system. This IDC (Insulation Displacement Contact) receptacle features matte tin plating and supports wire gauges in the applicable range, with preloaded contacts enabling time savings for high-volume applications. The assembly operates over a temperature range of -65°C to +105°C and carries a maximum current rating of 3 amps per single contact in free air at 267 V operating voltage. It includes latching and polarization features with coupling shrouds available for ganging multiple assemblies, and is commonly used in medical instruments, automotive controls, computers, commercial printers, appliances, and telecommunications equipment.
