DESCRIPTION

The 103958-3 is a 4-position MTE receptacle assembly designed for wire-to-board and wire-to-wire interconnect applications within the AMPMODU MTE interconnect system. This IDC (Insulation Displacement Contact) receptacle features 30 microinches gold plating and supports 22-26 AWG wire gauges, offering reliable electrical connections with preloaded contacts suitable for high-volume automation applications. The assembly incorporates latching and polarization features with coupling shrouds that enable ganging of smaller receptacle assemblies with guide ribs to form larger connector configurations. Operating across a temperature range of -65°C to +105°C with a maximum current rating of 3 amps per single contact in free air, this connector is well-suited for medical instruments, automotive controls, computers, commercial printers, appliances, and telecommunications equipment where cost-effective, high-reliability interconnections are required.
