DESCRIPTION
1-1971771-2 is a component of the TE Connectivity Power Triple Lock connector system designed for reliable power and signal connections. The system features a triple locking mechanism including cap/header and plug latch, connector position assurance (CPA), and terminal position assurance (TPA) for secure connections. The connector system supports voltage ratings up to 600 VAC/VDC with current ratings up to 12 amps maximum, and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 105°C for standard temperature versions. Housing materials are UL 94V-0 rated with options including PBT glass filled for standard 105°C applications, nylon for high temperature 150°C applications, and nylon glass filled for glow wire compliance. Contacts are tin-plated copper alloy, and the system is UL recognized (E28476) with select components VDE certified per IEC 61984.
