DESCRIPTION

1-2178713-4 is a 14-position paddle board cable connector from TE Connectivity's Micro-MaTch Value-line Connector Family, designed for wire-to-board interconnections. It features a 1.27 mm (0.050 inch) centerline pitch and utilizes insulation displacement contacts (IDC) for gas-tight, corrosion-free connections with standard ribbon cables. The connector is suitable for automatic placing and termination, with a full range of application tooling available from hand tools to fully automated equipment. Common applications include home automation, alarm equipment, mobile GPS devices, lighting systems, air and climate control units, CCTV, and pay terminals in industrial, consumer, and datacom industries.
