DESCRIPTION
1241415-1 is a receptacle contact for the AMP MCP 6.3/4.8K interconnection system, engineered for reliable electrical connections in automotive powertrain, safety, and convenience systems. This contact is part of the Single Wire Sealing System (SWS) and accommodates wire sizes in the >1.0–2.5 mm² range with insulation diameters of 2.7–3.7 mm (FLK) and 2.2–3.0 mm (FLR). The contact is manufactured from CuNiSi material with selective silver plating (-3 finish option) or pre-tin plating (-1 finish option), providing excellent corrosion resistance and conductivity for long-term automotive use. The contact is supplied in strip form with a package quantity of 1,500 units per reel and 500 units per loose-piece package, with compatible applicators and hand tools available for installation. This contact is ideal for high-reliability automotive applications requiring robust sealing and vibration resistance.
