DESCRIPTION
1-292132-2 is a through-hole (T/H) box-type vertical-mount header with kinked legs, part of TE Connectivity's AMP CT 2.0 mm pitch miniature wire-to-board connector series. The connector features tin plating and is available in multiple position configurations (2 through 15 positions) via position-to-dash numbering. It is designed for discrete wire interconnect applications and offers proven harness-making capability with compatibility to both mass-terminated (MT) and crimp contact systems. The kinked legs provide mechanical retention to secure the connector onto the PCB during assembly and operation. This header style is commonly used in digital data networks and general-purpose interconnect applications where reliable wire-to-board connections and polarization protection (via box-type design) are required.
