DESCRIPTION
The 1-292253-2 is a through-hole standard-type panel-mount header connector from TE Connectivity's AMP CT series, designed for horizontal mounting with kinked legs to provide self-retention on printed circuit boards. This miniature wire-to-board interconnect solution features a 2.0 mm pitch and supports discrete wire interconnect with circuit positions ranging from 2 to 15 in single-row configuration. The connector is tin-plated and rated for 125 V AC/DC operation with current ratings up to 4 A (22 AWG), 2 A (24 AWG), 2.5 A (26 AWG), 1.5 A (28 AWG), and 1 A (30 AWG), accommodating wire gauges from 22 to 30 AWG. The kinked leg design ensures secure board mounting while the shrouded header design provides resistance to scooping during mating and unmating operations. This connector is ideal for applications in business equipment, industrial machines, IoT devices, PC peripherals, audio systems, LED lighting, and other applications requiring reliable signal or power routing.
