DESCRIPTION
1-338068-4 is a female-on-board connector with top entry and latches, part of the TE Connectivity Micro-MaTch modular connector system. It features a 1.27 mm (0.050 inch) contact spacing and tin-plated contacts with a fretting corrosion resistant design that includes an additional positioning spring in the female part to absorb relative movements caused by vibrations and thermal expansion. The connector is suitable for mass termination of 28 AWG (0.08 mm² to 0.09 mm²) ribbon cable and provides gas tight connections for reliable wire-to-board and board-to-board interconnections. It mates with connectors including 215083, 338095+338096, 338095+338097, 215464, and 338728. Common applications include production and material handling equipment, control units, robots and motors, car radios, navigation systems, and audio equipment.
