DESCRIPTION
The 1-338316-2 is a subminiature D-type connector socket with boardlocks designed for solder termination applications. This 37-way connector features M3 inserts for secure mounting and is constructed with a steel tin-plated front shell and black glass-filled polyester housing rated UL 94V-0 for flammability. The connector utilizes phosphor bronze contacts with 0.76 µm gold plating on the contact area, delivering a maximum current rating of 6A and insulation resistance of 5000 MO minimum. With a dielectric strength of 1000V AC and operating temperature range from -55°C to +105°C, this connector is well-suited for industrial control systems, telecommunications equipment, and data acquisition applications requiring reliable high-density interconnections in demanding environments.
