The 145246-1 is a surface mount solder type board-to-board card edge connector designed for 3.3 volt signaling environments in PCI applications. It features a high-density .050 inch (1.27 mm) centerline spacing with dual positions and metal holddowns for secure mounting. The connector housing is constructed from high temperature thermoplastic rated 94V-0 in white, with phosphor bronze contacts duplex plated with .000030 inch minimum gold in the contact area and .000100 inch minimum tin-lead on solder tails, underplated with .000050 inch minimum nickel. Performance specifications include a maximum mating force of 8 oz (2.22 N) per contact pair, contact resistance of 20 milliohms maximum (initial) and 30 milliohms maximum (final), and a current rating of 1 ampere maximum.
