DESCRIPTION
1-480284-0 is an 8-circuit dual-row wire-to-board power connector featuring a 5.0 mm contact centerline and positive lock mechanism, designed for power circuits in home appliances and gas appliances. The connector has a compact mated height of 19.4 mm and includes a socket housing with PM (Positive Lock) type and pin housing with MM (Male-Male) type contacts. The housing is constructed from UL94V-2 rated nylon in natural color with duplex plating finish, and accepts double wire applications where individual insulation diameters do not exceed 0.115 inches (2.92 mm). The connector features a double lock plate for complete contact loading, locking levers surrounded by protective walls to prevent wire tangling, and is designed to release bubbles created during potting processes.
