DESCRIPTION
1-480672-0 is a 9-circuit matrix socket housing (plug) connector designed for wire-to-board applications in the Commercial MATE-N-LOK family. It features a 5.0 mm power key connector (5.0 PKC) design with a compact mated height of 19.4 mm and positive lock mechanism for secure contact insertion. The housing is constructed from UL94V-2 rated nylon in natural color and incorporates protective walls surrounding the locking levers to prevent tangling with wires. The connector is designed to release bubbles created during potting processes and includes housing lances to further prevent wire contact tangling. This connector is recognized under UL Component Program File No. E28476 and certified by Canadian Standards Association File No. LR7189, making it suitable for power circuits in home appliances, particularly gas appliances, where reliable electrical connections and safety compliance are essential.
