DESCRIPTION

1658539-4 is an HDP-20 crimp snap-in D-subminiature connector designed for cable assembly and interconnection applications. This Shell Size 1 connector features 9 contact positions with dimensions of 1.213" (Dim. A), 0.984" (Dim. B), and 0.494" (Dim. C), utilizing a 94V-0 rated thermoplastic insert material and standard clinch nut mounting method. The connector shell is constructed of steel with tin plating, and the shield is also steel with tin plating, supporting recommended cable outer diameters of 0.165" to 0.455" with a maximum inner cable bundle diameter of 0.350". This connector accepts size 20 DF pin contacts and is RoHS compliant, making it suitable for industrial machinery, medical instrumentation, computers, peripherals, and various data communication systems requiring reliable shielded connectivity.
