DESCRIPTION
171822-6 is a standard type crimp receptacle connector with latch, part of TE Connectivity's Economy Interconnection Series (EIS). This connector features a 2.5mm centerline pitch and supports 2 to 12 positions, with a locking mechanism and polarization features to ensure proper mating. It is rated for 250V with current ratings ranging from 2A (30 AWG) to 5A (20 AWG) and operates within a temperature range of -20°C to 95°C. The receptacle mates with cap connectors (172211, 172213) for wire-to-wire applications and post headers (171825, 172732, 171826, 173081, 176153) for wire-to-board applications. Common applications include industrial machinery, factory automation, business and retail equipment, household appliances, and consumer electronics where compact, economical high-density wiring connections are required.
