DESCRIPTION
The 1718489-1 is an 18-position receptacle housing designed for the AMP MCP (Multiple Contact Point) interconnection system. It features a mating area interface dimension of 1.50 mm (.059 in) and is constructed from PBT-GF (polybutylene terephthalate with glass fiber reinforcement) in black color, providing durability and environmental resistance. The housing is unsealed with straight mount angle and no keying, offering a standard configuration without secondary locking mechanisms. This receptacle is RoHS and ELV compliant, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and is designed to work with carrier base part numbers 1718484 and 1718485 for complete interconnection solutions.
