DESCRIPTION
172142-6 is a low profile crimp receptacle connector with latch, part of TE Connectivity's Economy Interconnection Series (EIS). This connector features a 5mm centerline pitch and supports 2 to 12 positions, designed for wire-to-board termination applications. It utilizes crimp termination method and mates with post headers including 171825, 172732, 171826, 173081, and 176153. The connector operates within a temperature range of -20°C to 95°C with a voltage rating of 250V. Common applications include industrial machinery, factory automation, business and retail equipment, commercial and building equipment, household appliances, and consumer electronics where compact, economical high-density wiring connections are required.
