DESCRIPTION
172211-5 is a free hanging cap connector designed for wire-to-wire applications within TE Connectivity's Economy Interconnection Series (EIS). This connector features a latch mechanism to ensure positive mating and is available in 2 to 12 positions, accommodating various wiring density requirements. The connector uses pin contacts and mates with standard receptacle connectors (171822 series), supporting crimp termination methods. It operates at a rated voltage of 250V with current ratings ranging from 2A (30 AWG) to 5A (20 AWG) and maintains reliable performance across an operating temperature range of -20°C to 95°C.
