DESCRIPTION
1734355-1 is a 15-position AMPLIMITE subminiature D-Sub receptacle connector designed for PCB board mounting with 4-40 threaded inserts. The connector features a shell size of 1.540 inches (39.20 mm) in length with contact finish option B, which includes 0.000015 inches (0.00038 mm) minimum gold plating on the mating area and 0.000100 inches (0.00254 mm) minimum tin plating on solder tails with an overall 0.000050 inches (0.00127 mm) minimum nickel underplate. The housing is constructed from 94V-0 rated flame-retardant thermoplastic material with a low carbon steel nickel-plated shell, and the contacts are made from brass or phosphor bronze. This connector is ideal for applications requiring reliable signal transmission in compact electronic assemblies, data acquisition systems, and industrial control equipment where space constraints and robust interconnection are essential.
