DESCRIPTION
The 174779-1 is a Positive Lock Mark II receptacle housing designed for Series 110 connectors, providing secure retention to mating tabs through an integral lever lock mechanism. The housing is constructed from natural color nylon and accommodates straight-orientation terminals with .020" mating tabs and wire gauges from 24-20 AWG and 20-16 AWG. It is rated for a maximum operating temperature of 105°C and delivers reliable electrical performance with enhanced contact surface design using high-strength low-alloy steel. The housing features low insertion and extraction forces for improved ergonomics and ease of assembly, with audible confirmation of full mating. This receptacle is commonly used in appliances such as refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, and in automotive and industrial control applications where secure, removable connections are required.
