DESCRIPTION
175154-1 is a tab contact for AMP Universal Power (U-P) connectors designed for use in cap housings and plug assemblies. This contact is rated for a maximum voltage of 600V and supports a current rating of 12A maximum for 1 & 2 position configurations, with an operating temperature range of -30°C to +105°C. The contact accommodates wire sizes AWG 20-16 (0.50-1.42 mm²) with wire insulation diameters of 2.0-3.30 mm, and features pre-tinned brass or tin-plated high conductivity copper alloy construction with a contact retention force of 4 kg maximum. The contact exhibits an insulation resistance of 100 MO minimum at 500V DC and a dielectric withstanding voltage of 2,200V AC. These specifications make 175154-1 suitable for industrial power distribution, control systems, and equipment requiring reliable high-voltage connections with robust mechanical retention.
