DESCRIPTION

178495-1 is a 2-circuit horizontal mount post header designed for printed circuit board applications within the Universal Power (U-P) connector series. It features a 3.96mm centerline spacing with solder mounting type and retention legs for secure PCB attachment. The housing is constructed from UL 94V-0 rated, glass-filled 6/6 Nylon with brass contacts that are tin-lead plated, and the -1 suffix indicates a natural housing color. The contact post dimensions are 0.64 x 1.1mm, and the connector is designed for use with 1.6mm thick PC boards. This post header mates with the 176271-? plug housing series, making it suitable for power distribution and interconnect applications requiring reliable electrical connections.
