DESCRIPTION

1877646-1 is an ARINC 600 press-fit contact designed for PCB attachment applications in aerospace, defense, and marine environments. This contact eliminates the need for soldering and enables up to 10% weight savings compared to traditional solutions. It features a high strength copper alloy base with various plating options, operates over a temperature range of -65°C to +125°C, and is rated for 500 mating cycles. The contact meets industry specification ARINC 600-19 and offers backward compatibility with existing systems. Common applications include avionics systems and other demanding environments where reliable electrical connections and reduced manufacturing costs are essential.
