DESCRIPTION

1-965983-1 is a tab contact component with single wire sealing system (SWS) for the AMP MCP 1.5K connector system, engineered for automotive and electronic applications. The contact is designed to accommodate wire sizes in the range of 0.2–0.5 mm² with a maximum insulation diameter (FLR) of 1.15–1.60 mm, providing reliable single-point wire sealing. The contact features CuNiSi base material with pre-tin plating or selective silver plating options, ensuring high current capacity and corrosion resistance. This loose-piece contact is supplied in packages of 500 units and is compatible with applicator x-1528406-x and hand tool 734538-1, making it suitable for high-reliability automotive powertrain, safety, and body chassis systems requiring redundant contact points and protected contact springs.
