DESCRIPTION
1969442-5 is a dual row right angle header connector in the Economy Power 2.5 (EP 2.5) connector system, designed for compact, high-density printed circuit board applications. It features a 2.5 mm (0.098") centerline pitch and supports configurations from 8 to 40 positions in dual row format, with materials meeting Glow Wire test requirements per IEC/EN 60335-1 and UL 94 V-0 flammability standards. The connector operates at a voltage rating of 250 VAC with a maximum current rating of 4.2 A per single row, accommodates wire sizes from 0.13 to 0.56 mm² (26 to 20 AWG), and functions reliably across an operating temperature range of -55°C to +105°C. The design includes asymmetrical terminals that ensure correct orientation during assembly, housing locking latches, and polarization tabs for secure connections.
