DESCRIPTION

1977878-1 is a UV-resistant sealed circular plastic connector (CPC) plug housing designed for signal interconnections in outdoor and harsh environments. This Series 1 signal connector features an 11-4 shell size with standard sex contact arrangement and is constructed from UL F1-rated resin for excellent long-term UV resistance. The housing provides IP67 sealing capability, eliminating the need for supplemental enclosures in wet locations. It offers fluid resistance against diesel fuel, gear and engine lubricants, gasoline, anti-freeze, hydraulic fluid, and water. The circular design maximizes contact density, lowering equipment space requirements compared to rectangular-style connectors. This connector is ideal for industrial outdoor applications where reliable power and signal interconnections are required under extended sun exposure and environmental challenges.
