DESCRIPTION
1996883-4 is a 4-position VITA 67.1 daughter card RF module designed for high-frequency backplane interconnect applications in aerospace, defense, and marine systems. This module features a 50 ohm impedance with frequency performance up to 6.0 GHz for PCB mounted contacts, up to 26.5 GHz for semi-rigid cable contacts, and up to 20 GHz for flexible cable contacts. Key electrical specifications include VSWR of 1.15:1 to 20 GHz and 1.25 max to 26.5 GHz, insertion loss of 0.12vf (GHz) dB max, insulation resistance of 5000 megohms minimum, and dielectric withstanding voltage of 325 Vrms minimum at sea level. The module provides excellent channel-to-channel isolation exceeding 100 dB at SHF frequencies and supports RF power greater than 20 dBm at VHF/UHF/SHF bands. Compatible SMPM contacts include 1996771-1 for .047 semi-rigid cable and 1996390-1 for .086 semi-rigid cable, making it ideal for high-performance RF signal routing in demanding environments.
