DESCRIPTION
205738-1 is a receptacle assembly connector from TE Connectivity's AMPLIMITE HDP series, designed as a Size 3, 25-position vertical connector. The assembly features a front insert and rear insert constructed from glass-filled PBT or glass-filled nylon (UL94V-O rated, black color), with carbon steel shells and stainless steel retainer clips. The connector has a mating face width of 17.68±0.38 mm and an overall length of 53.04±0.38 mm, with 25 socket contacts positioned in a 1.27±0.51 mm configuration. Contact finishes include gold flash plating (2.54 µm minimum from mating end) over nickel (1.27 µm minimum), with tin or tin-lead plating (2.54 µm minimum) on the opposite end. The shells are finished with 5.08 µm minimum zinc coating and yellow chromate treatment. This connector is commonly used in industrial and telecommunications applications requiring reliable high-density interconnections.
