DESCRIPTION

2149490-5 is an SFP+ 2x8 pluggable cage interconnect featuring an EMI Spring Version design for high-speed serial data transmission. This cage assembly is designed to transfer data at speeds of up to 16 Gb/s and incorporates enhanced EMI containment through pocket springs integrated into the latch plate area to reduce EMI emission while maintaining airflow through the front of the cage assembly. The design includes a right-angle gasket retention plate that improves product strength and durability. This interconnect is ideal for data center operators and hardware OEMs requiring high port density configurations with reduced EMI interference in demanding networking and telecommunications applications.
